01 — Our Principles
We collect the minimum data required to run the library. We do not sell data. We do not run advertising trackers. Communication is limited to what you would reasonably expect from a members-only education product.
02 — Data Controller
PlayerVest is the data controller for information collected through this site. You can reach our privacy contact at privacy@playervest.co.
03 — Data We Collect
- —Name and email address supplied at checkout.
- —Payment confirmation from Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
- —Basic account activity — e.g. when you log in and which resources you download.
- —Any messages you send us by email or contact form.
- —Anonymised, aggregated analytics on site performance (no cross-site tracking).
04 — How We Use It
To deliver your library access, notify you when new resources are released, provide support and handle refund or billing queries. We may occasionally email members about material updates to the library or its terms — never to promote third-party products.
05 — Lawful Basis
We rely on contract to deliver the library you purchased, legitimate interests to keep members informed of relevant changes, and legal obligation to retain tax and transaction records where required.
07 — Retention
Account and library records are kept while your access is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support re-access requests. Transactional records are retained for the period required by UK tax law (currently six years).
08 — International Transfers
Some processors (e.g. Stripe) may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens we rely on the appropriate safeguards — such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
09 — Security
Access to member data is restricted and encrypted in transit. We use reputable providers with recognised security standards and review our arrangements periodically.
10 — Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object where we rely on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@playervest.co. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
12 — Children
The library is intended for adult professional footballers. It is not marketed to, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.
13 — Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its "last updated" date, will always appear on this page.
